toyz'R'me est une entite monocephale polymorphique a qualite vibratoire evoluant dans les meandres de la musique assistee par ordinateur depuis 1998. Apparaissant d'abord sous le nom de CFC comme le rejeton cache ou reserve a la chambre de Jean-Hugues Andre 29 ans, concepteur multimedia passione de projections mentales sous toutes formes, il voit le jour pour le reste du monde a partir de 2000 sur la toile, et plus particulierement sur le reseau transpirate de SoulseekRecords, puis en 2003 sur le label ROLAX avec la sortie d'un vynile split toyz'R'me / Komori.
La musique de toyz'R'me n'aime pas les definitions, bien qu'elle possede une unite perceptible, voir sensible. Elle se nourrit principalement des fantasmes de son ouvrier, de ses gouts - de Sid Barett a Jega en passant par Tortoise et Squarepusher - et de ses insomnies a l'effet explosif de dereglement des sens et de la perception et donc de ce FOUTU MONDE. La bonne vieille recette-seraient tentés de dire certains- mais ce serait sans compter sur un perpétuel besoin de renouvellement et un fébrile désir de transformer la technologie en une forme de vie à part entière.

The music of toyz'R'me dislikes definitions, although it possesses a perceptible unity, even probably a sensible one. It mainly nourishes itself with its worker's glaring fantasms, shadows and random tastes - from Sid Barret to Jega through Tortoise and Squarepusher..- and from his insomnias, which have the explosive effect of the disturbance of senses and perceptions and therefore this BLOODY WORLD. Same ol recipe-one might state- but this would be without taking into account a perpetual need for renewal and the feverish desire to transform technology into an autonomous living form, capable of walking stairs and opening doors and switching the light off and on and off and on.
